Shomili

beautiful bengal kittens

My breeding queen, Zaina (which means beautiful in Sanskrit) is proving to be an excellent and attentive mother.

Many thanks to Connie, Zawadi Bengals, for letting me have her as a breeding queen. She was sired by GCCF & TICA Champion Newtons Duke.

Zaina at 6 months

Zaina produced five beautifully marked Brown Spotted kittens in May and they have all found a home. Bear in mind when viewing pictures of Bengals that they go through a ‘fuzzy’ stage when they are young so the markings don’t tend to show up very well until they are fully matured.

As this was her first litter, I don’t think she really knew quite what was happening. So when the first one started squealing as it was being born, Zaina went into a bit of a spin! Luckily, we were on hand to calm things down and the rest of the birthing went very smoothly, but we thought it appropriate to call her Dizzy. This litter were sired by ‘Gogees Monet’ (Imp).
